This is the official account-deletion page for the HMind app and its developer. You can request permanent deletion from HMind’s account Security page. You will need to sign in so HMind can verify that the account belongs to you.
Sign in and request account deletion
How to request deletion
- Open the HMind account Security page and sign in if prompted.
- Choose Delete account and review the subscription and data warnings.
- Confirm the account email and, when requested, your password or Apple sign-in. HMind then locks account access and removes connected data in stages.
- If HMind reports that a protected billing review is required, follow the on-screen status or contact support@hmind.app from your account email.
What HMind deletes
Subject to the limited retention described below, deleting the account removes:
- Your HMind account, profile, sign-in credentials and sessions.
- Connected maps, nodes, revisions and attachments stored through HMind cloud features.
- Shares, invitations and access linked to the account.
- Other personal data linked to the account when it is no longer needed to provide or protect the service.
Account deletion is permanent. Export or save anything you need before submitting the request, because HMind cannot restore deleted cloud data.
Data that may be retained
HMind may retain or de-identify limited records when needed for backups, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, tax, accounting or another legal obligation. Transaction records may remain for the period required by the payment processor and applicable law. Retained data is not kept for ordinary account use. See the Privacy Policy for the categories HMind handles and the applicable retention rules.
Cancel subscriptions separately
Deleting your HMind account does not cancel an App Store, Google Play or Stripe subscription. Cancel with the provider that processed the purchase before deleting the account so future renewals stop. You can review the App Store subscription page, the Google Play subscription page, or the HMind Subscription & Billing page for a web purchase.
Local files and copies held by others
HMind is local-first. Deleting the account does not delete .hmind files, exported files, device backups or other local copies on your devices; remove those separately. It also cannot erase copies or screenshots that another person made from content you previously shared.
Need help?
If you cannot access the in-account flow, email support@hmind.app from the address associated with the HMind account. HMind may need to verify the request before acting on it. Do not send your password, payment-card details or sensitive map contents by email.
