HMind is developed and operated by an independent individual developer under the HMind brand, not a company. These terms apply to HMind accounts, cloud sync, read-only sharing, website services and subscriptions. Installed apps are also governed by the End User License Agreement. Contact: support@hmind.app.
Agreement and accounts
Read these terms before accepting an account or purchase agreement. You must have capacity to agree under applicable law; minors need a guardian where required. HMind is not directed to children under 14 or a higher local age of digital consent. Keep account information accurate and credentials secure.
Features and plans
Free includes local creation, editing, saving, available layouts, watermarked PNG export and cloud sync after sign-in. Desktop XMind import is free. Pro adds watermark-free PNG, PDF/Markdown export, presentation and read-only share links on supported clients. Offline HTML export and printing are desktop capabilities. Feature availability is described in the app and on hmind.app/pricing before purchase.
Platforms, versions and channels may offer different features. Source support or a roadmap is not a release commitment; public downloads are shown on the Download page. Roadmaps describe possible future development and do not commit to features that have not been released. Material changes to paid plans will be notified as required, with applicable consumer remedies preserved.
Content, sync and sharing
You own your content. A local map is not automatically a portable .hmind file; export a separate backup when needed. For content you sync or share, you grant only the limited licence to store, copy, transmit and display it to provide that feature. Sync is not an independent backup.
Creating/managing a public link requires an account, Pro and a synced map. Viewing is read-only, requires no HMind account, and follows access/password settings. Revoking a link stops subsequent access but does not retrieve saved copies. Only share content you are entitled to disclose.
Acceptable use
Do not infringe rights, distribute malware, evade access controls, overload services, impersonate others or resell connected services without permission. You remain responsible for the rights and lawful basis needed for content containing someone else’s information.
Purchases and renewal
Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. The purchase screen states price, currency, billing period, taxes and any trial or offer; no fixed trial length or availability is guaranteed. Confirm these details before buying.
Stripe processes website/direct-download purchases. Store purchases use App Store or Google Play where offered. Manage and cancel with the original purchase channel: the HMind account billing page for Stripe, Apple subscription settings for App Store, or Google Play subscription settings for Google Play. Store builds follow their store’s purchase rules.
Cancel before the displayed renewal deadline; follow any store requirement to cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Uninstalling or deleting an HMind account is not a substitute for cancellation. Cancellation normally preserves access until the paid period ends; refunds or revoked transactions may change that date. Price changes follow applicable notice and consent rules.
Refunds, restore and account deletion
Request refunds from Apple or Google for their store purchases; contact support@hmind.app for HMind website/direct-download billing. Eligibility follows the original channel and applicable law; cancellation alone does not refund prior payments.
Restore store purchases using the original store account and the app’s restore action. Sign into the HMind account linked to a website purchase to recover its entitlement. Account-linked Pro applies only to features available on each supported client. Do not buy again solely because an entitlement has not appeared; contact support with an order reference.
Export needed content before account deletion. Deletion removes connected data in stages and may require billing review. Local copies and legally required transaction records have separate retention rules. Review the Delete account page and cancel subscriptions through their purchase channel.
Availability, suspension and changes
Online services can be interrupted. We may restrict access where necessary for security, law or a material breach, with notice and a chance to resolve the issue where practicable. Ending Pro does not delete local files; Pro actions stop when entitlement expires. Service termination or material changes remain subject to applicable notice, refund and consumer-protection duties.
Liability and disputes
To the extent permitted by law, services are provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted service or fitness for a specific purpose. Nothing excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Email support@hmind.app to seek resolution; this does not prevent you from using statutory complaints or a competent court. If a clause is unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue where lawful.
